At Buxton Infant School we are lucky to have established close working relationships with two privately operated companies which enable us to offer excellent quality wrap around care on our site.
Playdays offers not only a holiday club but also Breakfast Club and an after-school club for children based at Buxton Infant School. Breakfast Club is open from 7.45am and includes a breakfast meal. Playdays after-school service also operates from Buxton Infant School and serves a range of local primary schools including Buxton Junior School to which most of our children move at age 7. The after-school service starts at the end of the school day and is open until 6pm and children are provided with a snack. For children at Buxton Junior School, the service includes transportation between sites (usually supervised walking, ocassionally minibus). Buxton Nursery offers a warm, friendly and secure environment for children aged between 3 months and 4 years, where both they and their parents, feel welcome and happy. Open all year round, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., children may also attend term-time only where required. For more information please click
